  Same cartridge as the 550EX in seed-001, and unchanged across all four 104M02 types checked. Some types add a foam pre-cleaner (595191) in front of it; the cartridge itself is the same. Retail display pack is Briggs 5432K.

  The same carburetor on all four 104M02 types checked, so the TYPE number is not needed for this part. It replaces 595192, which earlier -0197 engines (code date before 18050300) were built with. DO NOT fit this to a 625EXi: the two engines share the overhaul kit but NOT the carburetor.

  Head bolts must be tightened in the manufacturer's sequence and to the specified torque, in stages. The 625EXi (93J02) uses this same gasket.

  Listed as "ARMATURE, Magneto". The diagram states it supersedes to 84005272, so that is what a counter will supply today. Set the air gap to the figure in your engine manual after fitting. On the 625EXi the coil is code-date dependent (593872 before code 16012200, 595009 after) — that engine is deliberately not covered here.

  Complete assembly. If only the rope has broken and the spring is intact, rope 591108 and grip 281434S are the cheaper repair. The recoil spring stores a lot of energy — wear eye protection whenever one is opened.
